When the Denver Public Library implemented Floating Collections, we realized that we needed a whole new strategy for collection maintenance. For us, collection management is not just about weeding, it’s about curating the best collection for our customers.
We’ll share a flexible collection management strategy that can be adapted for any type or size of library to make sure that your collection remains dynamic, and relevant. Attendees will leave with practical ideas on how to approach collection maintenance using different techniques, templates, and collaboration methods.
Come prepared to share strategies that have worked for your library so that we all can build cohesive and current collection that our library users will love.
